    Tortured cat almost drowns

    A gang of youths is believed to have repeatedly kicked and nearly drown a small tabby cat last Wednesday, the 12th October, in the Boultham Park area in Lincoln.


    An anonymous member of the public reacted to the gan of youths and intervened to save the cat. He then took the wet and scared feline to the Weirfield Wildlife Hospital in Rookery Lane. The cat is being currently looked after there and is getting back to health. The incident took place before 7pm on Wednesday in the Boultham Park area. It is believed a gang of youths repeatedly kicked the tabby cat before attempting to drown it. The cat is described as a long-haired female tabby cat, with light brown, dark brown, white and grey colouring.It is believed she is domesticated and now the animal hospital is trying to reunite her with her owners.
