The level of Abandoned Cats is getting too much!

    NewsAnimal CrueltyTuesday 27 November 2012

A cat sanctuary in Australia is begging to people to help reduce the number of abandoned cats and to foster cats in their care as more and more are needing help. Over 500 cats have been left at their sanctury since the beginning of the month. If they do not get outside help from volunteers and fosters then they will be forced to put some of the cats down due to their health and lack of supplies and money.

The kitten season doesn't end until April and the number of cats that the 400 volunteers are looking after is already extremely high.

If you foster a cat from the sanctuary, Cat Haven, they will give you food, litter, a bed and veterinary care for the cat. It is important that more people foster these cats and they hope to increase they number of fosters in the near future.

Visit to foster one of these cats and to get more information.
