    Shelter Caturday - Kissy

    NewsShelter Caturday!Friday 09 October 2015

Every Saturday we run a special feature on a rescue cat looking for a loving home. This week the spotlight is on Kissy, an affectionate, young girl who is now looking for her forever home.

Established in 1860, Battersea Dogs & Cats Home aims to never turn away a dog or cat in need of help. They reunite lost dogs and cats with their owners; when they can’t do this they care for them until new owners can be found for them. They also work hard to educate the public about responsible pet ownership including microchipping, neutering and training. This includes educational talks and visits to schools and organisations, events, and publications. They help care for over 9000 cats & dogs a year - including Kissy,  an affectionate, young girl who has gone through so much in her life, she deserves the rest of her life to be spent snuggled on a lucky owners.

    Name: Kissy

Sex: Female Age: 1 Year 3 Months

    Breed: Domestic Short Hair

    Centre: Battersea

    Reference: 332587

Affectionate Kissy certainly lives up to her name, she loves cuddling onto your lap and giving lots of kisses!

She arrived at Battersea as a pregnant stray, with a damaged tail. Her babies have now found new homes and unfortunately Kissy had to have her tail amputated and it is currently in the healing process.

She has been through so much in her young life, she deserves the rest of her life to be spent snuggled on a lucky owners lap. She needs a garden to explore in her new home.

If you think you could offer Kissy a home please contact Battersea Dogs & Cats Home on 0843 509 4444 or contact them by email at [email protected] for more information.
