Record number of abandoned kittens in Sutton

NewsUK Cat NewsTuesday 23 August 2011

Sutton rescue centre has informed about the record number of abandoned cats last month.

The charity relates the phenomenon with the actual economic situation as the abandoned animals used to be re-homed quickly before. At present, finding new owners for kittens take far more time as having pets is not only an emotional responsibility but also a financial obligation.

Currently, 13 kittens are waiting for new loving houses. All the kittens have been vet checked, vaccinated and many of them have been microchipped. To find out more information please contact the Animal Lifeline in Sutton.
