    Five kittens drowned

    NewsAnimal CrueltyTuesday 28 June 2011

The Humane Society of Huron Valley officers came back to Ypsilanti Township (USA) last Friday to investigate the case of five kittens that were drowned on the 1st June.

The kittens were found drowned in a tub of water in the Lakeview Mobile Home Park by one of the residents who called the police. The whole story started few months ago when the man gave his neighbour a cat named Cricket that later gave birth to five kittens. According to the report, the man is supposed to have talked to its neighbour that was tired of the kittens and probably killed them.

The owner of the mother cat told the police it was her who put the kittens in the tub that had leftover bath water in it. So far no one has been charged. Cricket is in the custody of the Humane Society.
