The South Ayrshire Branch of cats protection are looking for homes for the following two cats.

Star is a beautiful white cat with silver/gray tabby patches. At eight-years-old she can be slightly reserved until she gets to know you and then watch out as she loves being petted and brushed! We are looking for a home where she can stay for the rest of her life with her pal (possibly sister) Bindy. Bindy is white with red/brindle tabby patches, also eight-years-old, together they make a stunning pair. They would need to be the only pets in the house hold and would possibly be fine to live with a family with kids around eight years or older. Bindy seems fine with younger children but Star is not too sure of mini-humans. Bindy is perhaps the more confident of the two, she is still a little shy on first meeting but soon gets over that to be very affectionate. Up until now the girls have been indoor cats, but once settled it would be nice for them to have the option to venture into a garden if they choose to do so. It is very unlikely that they would wander far anyway as they have had an indoor environment for so long. Both girls are fully vaccinated and micro-chipped, and of course neutered.

If you can give them a loving home please call  08453 714216      .

We are pleased to say that Dollar, Dylan, Bob and Pepsi from a couple of weeks ago have all had great success in finding new forever homes and we wish them long and happy lives! And of course, there are many many cats in needing waiting to come and take their place in care, and full details are available on our website and facebook pages -

The Lowland Gathering in Girvan will take place this Sunday, June 3, and we will have our usual stall their with a variety of games, bric-a-brac and home baking so please do pay us a visit and lend your support. Finally, please remember our neutering voucher scheme runs all year round and its never too late for this very important procedure to be carried out, and all new kittens, even if they were not obtained via the Cats Protection are also eligible for a neutering voucher and can be done as young as four-months-old. We strongly recommend you do not let kittens outside until they have had this procedure done - it does come with many long term health benefits. For further details ring our office on 08453 714216 .
