Cat abandoned in case in street

NewsUK Cat NewsMonday 12 September 2011

A cat that was left abandoned in a carry case in a dangerous position on the pavement outside the private boarding cattery, Tanglewood, in Southend Road was found last Friday.

Black female kitten was shut in a grey carry case and left near the cattery at the roadside in Stanford-le-Hope. The cat was discovered by a customer who almost rolled over it. The cattery owners said that the kitten was left without any blanked or food and was very weak. As the organisation is not an animal rescue centre, their employees hope that someone will offer a new loving home for the abandoned cat.

The cattery isn’t a rescue centre for cats and is hoping someone will come forward to offer the cat a new home. For anyone interested, please contact Tanglewood on 01375 640898.
