    How to take care of your cat while you are away on holidays?

    If you owe a pet, a cat or a dog, whenever you go away, even if it is just for one night or few days, you usually feel guilty of leaving it at home alone or having other taking care of it. However, during the summer, you usually want to relax more and spend more time far away from your day-to-day life. Read this article to know how to make sure your cat has all that it needs while you are away.

    First of all you should decide whether to take your cat with you or not. If it is possible to take your kitten with you, then, there’s no problem as you will be able to keep an eye on it at all times.     If you decide to leave your cat at home you should take into considerations few options: you can choose to book him into a cattery or let him stay alone at home and have somebody visiting it. The truth is that the cats do not like to change their environment so maybe taking your kitty to the cattery might not be that good idea. There's no doubt that there are some excellent catteries that take a good care of their residents, but for many cats it might just result stressful.

    Then your cat stays at home – who should you get to check on your kitty and feed it? The best solution would be the neighbours, however not everyone has the one to rely on. The other option are friends, however, taking care of a cat might be quite responsible and some of them would feel incomfortable about the idea. The best thing would be to get the professional help of pet sitter to take care of your cat while you are away.
