Learning how to talk to your cat will make life much easier for both you and your feline. Talking cat will go a long way in strengthening the communication you have with your pet. For tips on how to talk to your cat so that he understands you, see below.

When you want to talk to a cat to express your love there is a way of going about it. Start by talking in vey soothing and calm tones. Whilst you do this, be sure to stroke the back of the cat’s neck at the same time. If and when you cat looks up at you with squinted eyes, you should do the same. By squinting your eyes you are indicating to the cat that you love him and the cat feels the same way too.

This is normally a good sign. However when a cat purrs and thrashes his tail around aggressively it does not mean the same thing. This means he is upset. To make him happy again by talking cat, get down to his level and talk to cat in a soothing tone. Do not be tempted to pick him up. Wait until he is calm again to do this.

    Introducing Yourself

When first learning how to talk to your cat you should introduced yourself. Do this by getting down to the side of the feline. Do not make eye contact. Hold out your fist. The cat should come to your fist as it is the same size as a cat’s head. He will not be threatened and should come and rub his head on your fist.
