All the cats that come into Nine Lives Cat Rescue are neutered or spayed. Every cat is also blood tested for FIV and Felv and given a health check by our vet. We are a small centre which is totally self-funding When our cats go to their new homes they are fully vaccinated this includes Leukaemia vaccine Before being re-homed however we will do a home visit to ensure the home if suitable for the cat and will also do a follow up visit at a later date We request that our cats are rehomed where there is catflap access into the house PLEASE VIEW THE ATTACHED PICTURES OF THE CATS/YOUNG ADULTS WE HAVE AVAILABLE FOR REHOMING AT PRESENT. Ruby is smooth coated tortie and white female, very playful ad loving with a gentle nature. Bertie ginger white is very shy to start with but their is a lively boy once he gets to know you. Advice about buying a pet
    • Read up on the pet you are interested in and that it fits with your lifestyle.
    • Insist on seeing the mother with the litter and judge the parents’ health and temperament.
    • Make sure your chosen pet is old enough to leave its mother.
    • Check that the seller’s facilities are clean, & that the animals appear healthy.
    • Never send money or a check to someone in exchange for a pet.
    • Ask for a written medical history of the animal (vaccination and worming etc).
    • Consider adopting a rescue puppy from our rescue section. There are thousands of healthy dogs who need a home.
