Mary is a very loving and affectionate 10 year old black and white cat who is desperately searching for a forever home. I have been fostering her whilst her owners have been travelling, but circumstances mean she is sadly unable to return to her original home.

Mary is a very insecure and anxious girl, so needs a kind, patient and understanding owner. She would be an ideal companion for an older person or for someone who is at home a lot, as she suffers stress at being left on her own. To the right owner, Mary has so much to offer and would be an adorable and loyal companion. She has so much to give.
Due to her anxiety, Mary cannot be homed with other pets, and this is the reason I cannot keep her even though I have grown to love her deeply. It is with great sadness that I have to let her go.
She is spayed and microchipped, and will be given a thorough health check by Feline Welfare, who are kindly supporting Mary, before she is rehomed. For that reason, and to encourage committed owners, I am asking for a donation of £30 to Feline Welfare.
Please, please consider Mary if you are looking to offer a home to a cat. She truly is an adorable puss with so much to offer- Mary just needs to find security and stability at this point in her life. She would be happy being an indoor cat, if necessary. If you feel you can offer Mary what she needs, it would be great to hear from you.
    Advice about buying a pet
    • Read up on the pet you are interested in and that it fits with your lifestyle.
    • Insist on seeing the mother with the litter and judge the parents’ health and temperament.
    • Make sure your chosen pet is old enough to leave its mother.
    • Check that the seller’s facilities are clean, & that the animals appear healthy.
    • Never send money or a check to someone in exchange for a pet.
    • Ask for a written medical history of the animal (vaccination and worming etc).
    • Consider adopting a rescue puppy from our rescue section. There are thousands of healthy dogs who need a home.
