    NewsAnimal CrueltyWednesday 27 July 2011

A man, aged 26, of Northgate Place, Louth, admitted causing unnecessary suffering to three kittens and killing two of them on the 2nd July, according to ‘This Is Grimsby’.

The man, a refuse collector who has a 3-year-old child, was with his girlfriend at their friend’s place on a party in Upgate, Louth. After having drunk alcohol, the man stamped on two 4-week-old kittens fracturing the skull of one of them and breaking the leg of another to show the cats’ owner how much he hated cats. Stewie, a mother cat, was brutally kicked but survived.

The man admitted to have drunk four or five pints of lager before the party and seven cans of larger at the party. According to the news, a man had owned animals during his childhood and had a cat with his girlfriend.

Sentence was adjourned for reports until 9th September and the man was allowed unconditional bail.
