Shelter Caturday - Tulane
Every Saturday we run a special feature on a rescue cat looking for a loving home. This week the spolight is on the shy and reserved Tulane.
Battersea Dogs and Cats Home is the well-known backdrop of ITV's Paul O'Grady - For The Love Of Dogs but what you see on the show is only a fraction of the work that the shelter do. Battersea takes on over 9000 cats and dogs a year, including Tulane - a shy and reserved boy waiting for you to take him to a new home.
Age: 3 Years 4 Months
Breed: Domestic short-hair
Tulane is a shy and reserved boy who has led a quiet life with an older lady who unfortunately could no longer look after him.
He yearns for the peace and calm of a settled home with someone who has a regular routine and who has the time and patience to let him settle in at his own pace and make friends when he is ready.
If you think that you can be Tulane's new friend, please ask to meet him, as he is staying in a quiet area of the Cattery. Once settled, he will need garden access.
If you can offer Tulane a home, please call Battersea Dogs & Cats Home on 0843 509 4444 for more information or contact them by email on at firstname.lastname@example.org.
