Every Saturday we run a special feature on a rescue cat looking for a loving home. This week the spotlight is on Teddy, a chatty and affectionate senior gentleman is looking for a retirement home in which to spend his golden years.

Established in 1860, Battersea Dogs & Cats Home aims to never turn away a dog or cat in need of help. They reunite lost dogs and cats with their owners; when they can’t do this they care for them until new owners can be found for them. They also work hard to educate the public about responsible pet ownership including microchipping, neutering and training. This includes educational talks and visits to schools and organisations, events, and publications. They help care for over 9000 cats & dogs a year - including Teddy, a chatty and affectionate gentleman now looking for a retirement home in which to spend his golden years.

    Name: Teddy

    Age: 13 Years 7 Months

    Breed: Domestic Short Hair

    Centre: Battersea

    Reference: 342661

Handsome Teddy is a chatty and affectionate boy. He may be advanced in years but don’t be fooled; this dapper chap is a suave and spritely silver-fox who’s all dressed up in his tuxedo patiently waiting for a new home to call his own.

This charming gentleman greets all of his visiting admirers with his endearing squeaky meow; and he will happily dish out super smooches before settling down on a comfy lap for a snuggle and a snooze.

Teddy needs access to a garden (using a cat-flap) to allow him the freedom to potter about as much as he likes.

If you think you could offer Teddy a home please contact Battersea Dogs & Cats Home on 0843 509 4444 or contact them by email at [email protected] for more information.
