    Shelter Caturday - Stripes

    NewsShelter Caturday!Friday 09 September 2016

Every Saturday we run a special feature on a rescue cat looking for a loving home. This week the spotlight is on Stripes, an affectionate fellow in search of a loving family.

Established in 1860, Battersea Dogs & Cats Home aims to never turn away a dog or cat in need of help. They reunite lost dogs and cats with their owners; when they can’t do this they care for them until new owners can be found for them. They also work hard to educate the public about responsible pet ownership including microchipping, neutering and training. This includes educational talks and visits to schools and organisations, events, and publications. They help care for over 9000 cats & dogs a year - including Stripes, a handsome chap looking for his forever home.
    Name: Stripes
    Breed: Domestic Shorthair
    Sex: Male
    Age: 3 years 6 months
    Centre: London
    Reference: 351991

Stripes is certainly a star here at Battersea.

As long as he is receiving cuddles and strokes, all is right with the world for Stripes.

He can't get enough love and he will climb onto his people to be close to them, rubbing his face against theirs. If he wasn't precious enough already, his raspy meow seals the deal.

He will need access to a garden and would prefer to be the only pet in his new home.

If you think you could offer Stripes a home please contact Battersea Dogs & Cats Home on 0843 509 4444 for more information.
