Shelter Caturday - Sabrina
Every Saturday we run a special feature on a rescue cat looking for a loving home. This week the spotlight is on Sophie, a very affectionate princess looking for a calm and steady home.
Established in 1860, Battersea Dogs & Cats Home aims to never turn away a dog or cat in need of help. They reunite lost dogs and cats with their owners; when they can’t do this they care for them until new owners can be found for them. They also work hard to educate the public about responsible pet ownership including microchipping, neutering and training. This includes educational talks and visits to schools and organisations, events, and publications. They help care for over 9000 cats & dogs a year - including Patches; a gentle and friendly big boy who is looking for a forever family.
Age: 7 Years
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Sabrina is our little furry princess and is waiting for her fairy tale ending. She has been in a couple of homes in her life time and has now been at Battersea twice through no fault of her own.
Sabrina is desperate for a home she can finally relax in and feel safe, secure and loved. She is such an affectionate cat; she loves nothing more than to have her chin tickled, during which she likes to flop over onto her side, purring at the top of her lungs. This girl has so much love to give and cannot wait for someone to come along and rescue her.
If you can offer Sabrina the home that she is longing for, please call Battersea Dogs & Cats Home on 0843 509 4444 for more information.
