    Shelter Caturday - Rosa

    NewsShelter Caturday!Friday 27 November 2015
Every Saturday we run a special feature on a rescue cat looking for a loving home. This week the spotlight is on Rosa, a young little girl who is now looking for her forever home.

Established in 1860, Battersea Dogs & Cats Home aims to never turn away a dog or cat in need of help. They reunite lost dogs and cats with their owners; when they can’t do this they care for them until new owners can be found for them. They also work hard to educate the public about responsible pet ownership including microchipping, neutering and training. This includes educational talks and visits to schools and organisations, events, and publications. They help care for over 9000 cats & dogs a year - including Rosa, a shy girl who easily opens up as friendly and affectionate.

    Name: Rosa

    Sex: Female

    Age: 1 Year 12 Months

    Breed: Domestic Short Hair

    Centre: Battersea

    Reference: 341496

Rosa is a shy girl in this cattery environment but we have seen her to be friendly and affectionate, enjoying facial strokes from the familiar people who are currently looking after her.

She also loves to play with her feather toy when it is covered in catnip. Once settled in a home environment, Rosa is sure to show off more of her personality.

She will need access to a garden in her new home.

If you think you could offer Rosa a home please contact Battersea Dogs & Cats Home on 0843 509 4444 or contact them by email at [email protected] for more information.
