    Shelter Caturday - Puss

    NewsShelter Caturday!Friday 14 October 2016

Every Saturday we run a special feature on a rescue cat looking for a loving home. This week the spotlight is on Puss, an affectionate older cat looking for a home to call her own.

Established in 1860, Battersea Dogs & Cats Home aims to never turn away a dog or cat in need of help. They reunite lost dogs and cats with their owners; when they can’t do this they care for them until new owners can be found for them. They also work hard to educate the public about responsible pet ownership including microchipping, neutering and training. This includes educational talks and visits to schools and organisations, events, and publications. They help care for over 9000 cats & dogs a year - including Puss, a sweet, sensitive old girl looking for a loving, forever home.
    Name: Puss
    Breed: Domestic Short Hair
    Sex: Female
    Age: 9 years 3 month
    Centre: London
    Reference: 352249

Puss is a sweet, sensitive girl with a gentle personality. It takes her a bit of time to get to you know you, however once you have gained her trust she is an affectionate girl.

Puss has previously been an indoor cat and isn’t used to dogs or children. For this reason, she would like to be the only pet in her new home.

She may be able to live alongside teenagers pending a successful introduction, and would like to have a garden to play in.

If you can offer Puss a settled forever home with a comfortable lap to spend the evenings cuddled up on, please contact Battersea Dogs & Cats Home’s London centre on 0843 509 4444.
