Shelter Caturday - Molly
Every Saturday we are running a special feature on a rescue cat looking for a loving home. This week the spotlight is on 15 year old Molly, a gorgeous older lady with special needs who currently is awaiting adoption at Catcuddles Sanctuary in London.
Molly came into the sanctuary having not been adequately cared for by her previous owners - which left her with undiagnosed diabetes. Thanks to the volunteers at Catcuddles Sanctuary - who have put her on the right food, insulin injections and vet monitoring - she is now happier and much heathier!
Molly is a sweet and friendly girl with lots of loves to give. She loves fuss and is known as a 'cuddle connoiseur' at the sanctuary! She is gentle and socialble, although she must be the only cat in her new home, due to her diet. However, in the right home she could live peacefully with other pets, and is good with children. She will happily live as an indoor cat, so if you'd love a feline friend but have no access to a garden she could be the perfect cat for you!
She will need to be rehomed to someone happy to give her twice dialy injections (one with breakfast and one with dinner) for diabetes, as well as maintaining her current diet. Molly is such a special girl that, as well as a forever home, Catcuddles would be prepared to rehome her to a forever foster home with full support and vet care provided by them.
If you'd like to help Molly but can't offer her a home, you can sponser her over on Catcuddles Sactuary's website!
If you think you could offer Molly a forever home, contact Catcuddles Sanctuary here or call them directly on 02081 232230.
