Every Saturday we run a special feature on a rescue cat looking for a loving home. This week the spotlight is on Mittens, a lovely, sweet and affectionate girl who is now looking for her forever home.

Established in 1860, Battersea Dogs & Cats Home aims to never turn away a dog or cat in need of help. They reunite lost dogs and cats with their owners; when they can’t do this they care for them until new owners can be found for them. They also work hard to educate the public about responsible pet ownership including microchipping, neutering and training. This includes educational talks and visits to schools and organisations, events, and publications. They help care for over 9000 cats & dogs a year - including Mittens, a lovely, sweet and affectionate girl who is looking for a new family.

    Name: Mittens

    Sex: Female

    Age: 8 Years 7 Months

    Breed: Domestic Short Hair

    Centre: Battersea

    Reference: 341769

Mittens was found as a stray wondering around the neighbourhood, being fed by different people.

She has shown herself to be a lovely, sweet and affectionate cat that loves a lap to sit in. She loves attention so much that she will drool with happiness. Mittens can’t wait to have her own bed by the fire and family to cuddle up with. She will need access to a garden in her new home.

If you think you could offer Mittens a home please contact Battersea Dogs & Cats Home on 0843 509 4444 or contact them by email at [email protected] for more information.
