Shelter Caturday - Maisy
Every Saturday we run a special feature on a rescue cat looking for a loving home. This week the spolight is on Maisy.
Battersea Dogs and Cats Home is the well-known backdrop of ITV's Paul O'Grady - For The Love Of Dogs but what you see on the show is only a fraction of the work that the shelter do. Battersea takes on over 9000 cats and dogs a year, including Maisy- a sensitive girl waiting for you to take her to a new home.
Age: 6 Years 1 Month
Breed: Domestic Medium-hair
Centre: Old Windsor
Maisy is a nervous and sensitive girl who is finding Battersea a very scary place to be. With time and TLC she does make friends, so should settle in well in her new home as long as owners are patient.
Due to her timid nature Maisy is looking for a quieter home without young children and other pets; this cautious girl is frightened by too much noise or rapid movement. In her previous home Maisy liked being stroked but is very much a cat that prefers attention on her terms, new owners must respect this and her independent side.
She does like a potter in the garden when the weather is nice, but is quite a homely girl so will be fine with restricted access to the garden when her owners are home. Maisy has lots of potential and will make a sweet companion in return for some understanding and TLC.
If you can offer Maisy a home, please call Battersea Old Windsor on 01784 494443 for more information or contact them by email on at email@example.com.
