    Shelter Caturday - Lucinda

    NewsShelter Caturday!Thursday 17 December 2015
Every Saturday we run a special feature on a rescue cat looking for a loving home. This week the spotlight is on Lucinda, a friendly yet independent girl who is now looking for her forever home.

Established in 1860, Battersea Dogs & Cats Home aims to never turn away a dog or cat in need of help. They reunite lost dogs and cats with their owners; when they can’t do this they care for them until new owners can be found for them. They also work hard to educate the public about responsible pet ownership including microchipping, neutering and training. This includes educational talks and visits to schools and organisations, events, and publications. They help care for over 9000 cats & dogs a year - including Lucinda, a friendly yet independent girl who is now looking for her forever family.

    Name: Lucinda

    Breed: Domestic Short Hair

    Centre: Battersea

Lucinda is a friendly, yet independent girl who enjoys human company, but also likes her "me-time".

This stunning girl is very inquisitive and cannot wait to settle down into a new home where she can explore all her new surroundings.

In the Cattery one of Lucinda's favourite places to have a sit and a rest is in her perching post looking out of our windows, and we can imagine she will just be over joyed to have a window of her very own to gaze out of.

This affectionate beauty is eager to have a spot by the fire place by Christmas.

If you think you could offer Lucinda a home please contact Battersea Dogs & Cats Home on 0843 509 4444 or contact them by email at [email protected] for more information.
