    Shelter Caturday - Leona

    NewsShelter Caturday!Friday 30 September 2016

Every Saturday we run a special feature on a rescue cat looking for a loving home. This week the spotlight is on Leona, a very energetic and playful young lady in search of a loving family.

Established in 1860, Battersea Dogs & Cats Home aims to never turn away a dog or cat in need of help. They reunite lost dogs and cats with their owners; when they can’t do this they care for them until new owners can be found for them. They also work hard to educate the public about responsible pet ownership including microchipping, neutering and training. This includes educational talks and visits to schools and organisations, events, and publications. They help care for over 9000 cats & dogs a year - including Leona, an affectionate young girl looking for a loving, forever home.
    Name: Leona
    Breed: Domestic Short Hair

    Age: 1 year 7 months

Sweet little Leona is a very energetic and playful young lady.

She can sometimes be a little shy of new people, but with the help of her favourite string toy and a game she soon makes friends.

She is looking for a home where she is the only pet so she can continue to blossom and become a truly lovely companion.

Once settled, Leona will need outside access.

If you think you could offer Leona a home please contact Battersea Dogs & Cats Home on 0843 509 4444 for more information.
