    Shelter Caturday - Leon

    NewsShelter Caturday!Friday 10 April 2015

Every Saturday we run a special feature on a rescue cat looking for a loving home. This week the spolight is on Leon.

Battersea Dogs and Cats Home is the well-known backdrop of ITV's Paul O'Grady - For The Love Of Dogs but what you see on the show is only a fraction of the work that the shelter do. Battersea takes on over 9000 cats and dogs a year, including Leon - perfect for new owners who love big and sturdy male cats with lots of character!.

    Name: Leon

    Age: 1 Year 7 Months

    Breed: Domestic Short Hair

    Sex: Male

    Centre: Battersea

    Reference: 322321

Leon arrived as a stray and so we have little information on his background and where he came from.

He is a sizeable tom cat and he has shown himself to be very sensitive to smells of other cats. Being kept inside a small pen has meant he can become quiet frustrated, however once settled in a home with outside access we are sure he will be able to run off some of that extra energy.

Leon is perfect for new owners who love big and sturdy male cats with lots of character. There is never a dull moment with him being in your home.

If you think you can offer Leon a home please call Battersea Dogs & Cats Home on 0843 509 4444 for more information or contact them by email on at [email protected]
