Every Saturday we run a special feature on a rescue cat looking for a loving home. This week the spotlight is on Lavender, a very friendly girl in search of a loving family.

Established in 1860, Battersea Dogs & Cats Home aims to never turn away a dog or cat in need of help. They reunite lost dogs and cats with their owners; when they can’t do this they care for them until new owners can be found for them. They also work hard to educate the public about responsible pet ownership including microchipping, neutering and training. This includes educational talks and visits to schools and organisations, events, and publications. They help care for over 9000 cats & dogs a year - including Lavender, an easy going kitten who is looking for her forever home.

    Name: Lavender

    Breed: Chinchilla (Persian) Long Hair

    Sex: Female

    Age: 4 years 1 month

    Centre: London

    Reference: 351900

Lavender is looking for a home where she can relax and make friends with her new owner.

She has an easy going nature and will soon be making herself familiar with people in the household.

Lavender loves a catnip mouse which encourages the lively side of her character to be seen and adored as she plays.

Lavender would like to be the only cat in her new home, but could potentially live alongside a dog. A home with a private garden is a necessity.

If you think you could offer Lavender a home please contact Battersea Dogs & Cats Home on 0843 509 4444 for more information.
