Every Saturday we run a special feature on a rescue cat looking for a loving home. This week the spotlight is on Gavin, who loves to follow his foster carer around the house and would love to do the same at his forever home.

Established in 1860, Battersea Dogs & Cats Home aims to never turn away a dog or cat in need of help. They reunite lost dogs and cats with their owners; when they can’t do this they care for them until new owners can be found for them. They also work hard to educate the public about responsible pet ownership including microchipping, neutering and training. This includes educational talks and visits to schools and organisations, events, and publications. They help care for over 9000 cats & dogs a year - including Gavin, who loves to follow his foster carer around the house and would love to do the same at his forever home.

    Name: Gavin

    Sex: Male

    Age: 2 Years 7 Months

    Breed: Domestic Shor Hair

    Centre: Battersea

    Reference: 342854

Gavin is in one of our foster homes currently and this may be the first time he has known a home that can offer him affection, warmth and even toys.

After coming from a large multi-cat house hold this lad needs a home where he can take centre stage.

He enjoys following his foster carer around the house, sticking as close to her as possible so not to miss out on any cuddles that may come his way.

He is also very playful and can make a toy out of anything from string toys to balls of paper, he recently stole a washing up sponge!

If you think you could offer Gavin a home please contact Battersea Dogs & Cats Home on 0843 509 4444 or contact them by email at [email protected] for more information.
