    Shelter Caturday - Flora

    NewsShelter Caturday!Friday 24 July 2015

Every Saturday we run a special feature on a rescue cat looking for a loving home. This week the spotlight is on Flora, who is looking for her forever home.

Established in 1860, Battersea Dogs & Cats Home aims to never turn away a dog or cat in need of help. They reunite lost dogs and cats with their owners; when they can’t do this they care for them until new owners can be found for them. They also work hard to educate the public about responsible pet ownership including microchipping, neutering and training. This includes educational talks and visits to schools and organisations, events, and publications. They help care for over 9000 cats & dogs a year - including Flora, a sweet, affectionate young cat who is now looking for that special home.

    Name: Flora

    Sex: Female

    Age: 3 Years 1 Month

    Breed: Domestic Short Hair

    Centre: Battersea

    Reference: 332547

Now that Flora's grown-up kittens have been rehomed, she is looking forward to some peace and quiet by being the only cat in her new home.

Flora is a sweet, affectionate young cat and is enjoying being the centre of attention and lapping up all the fuss.

She does have an independent side where she is happy to entertain herself when she is on her own but will jump at the chance of some love when you are around, giving the loudest purr you have ever heard!

Once settled into a new home, Flora will need access to a garden. If you think you could offer her a home please contact Battersea Dogs & Cats Home on 0843 509 4444 for more information.
