Shelter Caturday - Curly
Every Saturday we run a special feature on a rescue cat looking for a loving home. This week the spotlight is on Curly, a lad whose unique coat will prompt you to fall in love with him.
Established in 1860, Battersea Dogs & Cats Home aims to never turn away a dog or cat in need of help. They reunite lost dogs and cats with their owners; when they can’t do this they care for them until new owners can be found for them. They also work hard to educate the public about responsible pet ownership including microchipping, neutering and training. This includes educational talks and visits to schools and organisations, events, and publications. They help care for over 9000 cats & dogs a year - including Curly, whose unique coat will enamour you!.
Age: 2 Years 3 Months
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
With his coiled, crimped, and corkscrewed coat there was no other option than to call this little lad Curly!
He stands out of the cattery crowd with his unique fur and that's not the only reason for his name: he absolutely adores “curl”ing into the lap of any human who spends time with him. He is slightly on the sensitive side so he will need a calmer home where he can settle in. He will also need access to a garden in his new home.
If you think you could offer Curly a home please contact Battersea Dogs & Cats Home on 0843 509 4444 for more information.
