Every Saturday we run a special feature on a rescue cat looking for a loving home. This week the spotlight is on Chloe, a good-natured, elder cat who is now looking for her forever home.

Established in 1860, Battersea Dogs & Cats Home aims to never turn away a dog or cat in need of help. They reunite lost dogs and cats with their owners; when they can’t do this they care for them until new owners can be found for them. They also work hard to educate the public about responsible pet ownership including microchipping, neutering and training. This includes educational talks and visits to schools and organisations, events, and publications. They help care for over 9000 cats & dogs a year - including Chloe, a good-natured cat who may seem like a mature lady but it's quite the opposite! Will you be that special home?.

    Name: Chloe

    Sex: Female

    Age: 9 Years 8 Months

    Breed: Domestic Long Hair

    Centre: Battersea

    Reference: 336740

Chloe is a good-natured cat who does not put herself forward for attention, but is quietly appreciative of it when she gets it.

She may seem like a mature lady, but give her a whiff of catnip and she reverts back to kittenhood, excitedly rolling about and waving her paws in the air. She needs a home with someone who regards grooming as a pleasure rather than a chore because her extra-thick coat requires plenty of brushing and combing.

Chloe may be rehomed singly or with her brother Joey. If you think you could offer Chloe a home please contact Battersea Dogs & Cats Home on 0843 509 4444 or contact them by email at [email protected] for more information.
