Every Saturday we run a special feature on a rescue cat looking for a loving home. This week the spotlight is on Bluebell, a happy mature girl in search of a loving family.

Established in 1860, Battersea Dogs & Cats Home aims to never turn away a dog or cat in need of help. They reunite lost dogs and cats with their owners; when they can’t do this they care for them until new owners can be found for them. They also work hard to educate the public about responsible pet ownership including microchipping, neutering and training. This includes educational talks and visits to schools and organisations, events, and publications. They help care for over 9000 cats & dogs a year - including Bluebell, an active lady looking for a home to spend her golden years.

    Name: Bluebell

    Breed: Domestic Shorthair

    Sex: Female

    Age: 11 years 1 month

    Centre: London; Reference: 352012

Although Bluebell may be considered a more “mature” lady, she is still a very active girl, always on the go and ready for attention.

She will climb all over you for a fuss and dribbles happily once she has made friends with you.

She loves spending time outside so will need access to a garden via a cat flap once settled.

Bluebell is happy to live alongside a dog and children over the age of eight, but would like to be the only cat in her new forever home.

If you agree age is but a number and you are looking for an affectionate loving lady with a zest for life, Bluebell may be just what you are looking for.

If you think you could offer Bluebell a home please contact Battersea Dogs & Cats Home on 0843 509 4444 for more information.
