    Mutilated cat found in cemetery

    NewsAnimal CrueltyWednesday 29 June 2011

In the last month, residents of Oregon (USA) have found mutilated cats twice and according to the police, the cases are related.

The first dead kitten was discovered on 11th June in a cemetery and its head and front legs were missing. The cat’s skin had also been peeled down toward the tail. Last week, on the 23rd June, the second mutilated cat was found at a city park and also its front half of the body was missing and the skin had been peeled back.

Both cats appear to have been adult cats with dark grey fur and white fur on their feet. Police are appealing to report any suspicious behaviour in their neighbourhoods. If you have information about the case or are missing a cat that fits the description, you can contact Oregon City Police at (503) 657-4964.
