Luxury cat hotel with a la carte menu and four poster beds to open in West Yorkshire
Now we’ve seen it all! If you are on the hunt for a lavish hotel in which to leave your feline friend for the night, then you really are in luck. The Ings Luxury Cat Hotel opens in West Yorkshire this December, and it offers your cat an extremely high level of service. In fact, it might just leave you feeling jealous.
The Ings has a number of suites which all have “stunning panoramic views”, underfloor heating and bespoke wrought iron four poster beds. The beds also have “cut glass crystal balls and the softest cotton bedding with goose feather cushions”.
If you do decide to drop your cat off for a night or two at The Ings, then he or she will also be able to watch their favourite DVDs on the flat screen TV, which is standard in every room. They can watch looped footage of a fish tank or even butterfly meadows.
There is even an optional a la carte menu, which offers your kitty more than just a can of Felix. Pan fried sea bass with organic butter and steamed prawns, for example.
When it comes to cost, the super sized family suites will set you back £15, whereas the Woodland Wing, which is apparently “one of the largest suites in the country” costs you a whopping £40!
Whilst this is most certainly one of the most excessive cat hotels in the country, it is not the first. The trendsetting Longcroft Luxury Cat Hotel opened in Welwyn Garden City in 2010 and now boasts two more locations, with many more under consideration. Suites include wrought iron beds, soft pillows and an "a la cat menu served on bone china". Suites range from £17-45.
So, would you guys like your cats to appreciate fine dining and luxury hotel suites?
