Kitten left tied to a crate
10-week-old abandoned kitten was found tied-up to a dog crate with a piece of old bailing twine by a resident in Hasland, Chesterfield.
The kitten was found scared and confused after being dumped and tied-up to a dog crate in Hasland, Chesterfield. The officers from the RSPCA took the kitten and looked after the cat till the new home was found. The RSPCA employees has admitted that the person who left the kitty like that put it in great danger. The cat could have easily caught up or jumped around and got the string stuck on its neck.
The animal shelter has currently 28 cats in the centre, a further 17 in foster care, and three in private boarding. To find new homes for the cats the Spital Lane centre is now staying open until 7pm on Wednesdays. For more details about adopting a pet, please call 01246 273 358.
