A 5-year-old cat called Hope survived being blasted by around 30 shotgun pellets according to dailymail.co.uk.

The cat was found by its owner, bleeding and near to death in Great Walsingham, Norfolk. The first thought was that it had been attacked by a dog as the cat’s body was ripped and torn. However, after being transferred to the All Creature Healthcare Centre in Norwich, the X-rays showed that the cat had been reached by around 30 shotgun pellets located mainly in the back of the kitten’s body. The cat had also 4 shotgun pellets in its head.

The moggy is being treated at the Paws Centre in Norwich, which is run by the RSPCA Norwich and Mid Norfolk branch. As the cat's owner could not afford the veterinary treatment, Hope has been signed over to the care of the RSPCA who is now searching for the culprits.
