Homes needed for 500 cats - can you help?

We're appealing to anyone thinking of getting a cat to please consider adopting one of the 500 cats currently being cared for at our branches and centres throughout south-east England.
We are caring for more cats than ever before that have either been neglected or unwanted and abandoned by previous owners.

So today we're launching a regional campaign to find them fantastic new homes, with the help of cat-loving comedian and RSPCA supporter Ricky Gervais.
The comic, who has his own cat, is only too happy to help us persuade people to adopt a rescued cat and make a difference to an animal's life.

Teddy
Miracle survivor Teddy, a stunning grey-and-white cat, was hit by a train at Lancing station in West Sussex last month. Horrified commuters saw him drag himself to the side of the track before we were called to the scene.
He underwent £1,000 worth of surgery and sadly his back leg and half his tail had to be amputated. But itsaved his life and he is happily now ready to go to a new home.

Mini and Molly
When black cats Mini and Molly were found abandoned at our Southall Cattery, they were immediately taken to our Putney Animal Hospital as they both had eye injuries. Sadly Mini had to have an eye removed, but she's recovered well and both are now ready for adoption.
Sweet cats Toffee and Pudding were abandoned in a house in Shepherd's Bush when their owners moved out and left them behind.

We rescued tabby cat Norman after he wasdiscovered in a garden shed in Whitstable, Kent, on Boxing Day suffering from horrible injuries.
We took Norman to a vet where he was treated for his injuries and he has now made a full recovery in our care.

RSPCA adopted cats are vaccinated, microchipped and neutered – all included in the adoption fee, and an initial pet insurance is included as well.
