Cats rescued from filthy Carrick home

NewsCat Rescue NewsThursday 16 June 2011

13 cats were rescued this week from a Carrick home (Pittsburgh, USA) by the Animal Friends. Due to the horrible living conditions the cats needed medical treatment. They were dehydrated, malnourished and suffering from scabs, fleas and other parasites.

On Friday, 18 cats were already taken from the house, and there are still more than 10 inside. The smell in the house is unbearable and there is junk, debris and cat feces all over the floor. The officers from Animal Friends had to wear a Hazmat suit to capture the cats.

As the Ohio shelter is full of cats the owners who would like to adopt the cat are needed as soon as possible.
