After the Great North Dog Walk that was held on Sunday 12th June at The Leas, South Shields, England, South Tyneside is preparing for its second dog walk just in two weeks but with pooch owners dressed up as cats for a new charity event.

Organizers of the Great North Dog Walk claimed that over 22.000 dogs took part in the last event and now they want to repeat the success in order to raise funds for The Willows Cat Adoption Centre from South Shields. The charity is a shelter dedicated to all stray and abandoned cats and has been helping the felines for many years. The centre provides the kittens with medical care until they find new owners.

The walk starts at Souter Lighthouse, South Shields, at 10am.
