Cat traumatised after burglary
A cat that was recovering at the RSPCA clinic in Bournemouth was left traumatised after thieves smashed their way into the building last week.
The burglars broke in through an upstairs window after climbing on to the roof and then went downstairs where they took over £500 from charity collecting tins. They also went through drugs at the RSPCA clinic, however according to the report they did not take anything. The clinic was left in such a mess that it stayed closed the next day.
The break-in happened at the clinic in Richmond Park Road between 4.45pm on Thursday, 6th October, and 8am on Friday, when a neighbour raised the alarm.
Witnesses or anyone with information are asked to call the police inquiry number 101.
