Bullet survives two shots
Bullet, a 2-year-old cat, was rescued by animal control officers from a trap in northern Lawrence (USA) after being shot twice this week. The Lawrence Humane Society staff hopes he has a new home soon.
According to the police spokesman, the animal control officers found the injured cat inside a trap on the side of a residence in Lawrence and a witness told that he had heard a neighbour shooting from a gun earlier that day. A man who has been charged earlier of animal cruelty and discharging a firearm in the city limits has a hearing scheduled for 28th June.
Bullet, a black cat with little spots of white is believed to be a stray. The cat was taken to the Humane Society and later taken to a veterinary clinic.
