5 years banned from owning animals after starving two cats
A woman from Cambridge who starved deliberately her two cats to death has been banned on owning animals again in 5 years.
A woman who deliberately starved her two cats to death will be able to keep pets again in five years, according to Cambridge News. Ginger tabby Tigger and black cat Fluffy were starved to death by their owner; they weighed just over 2 kg and had visible spines, ribs and pelvic bones. The autopsy revealed they had empty stomachs and intestines and had fleas. The woman was caught by RSPCA inspector and was sentences at Cambridge Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 11th August, for animal cruelty.
She was also made subject to an 18 month community order, and told to pay costs of £200.
